Kindergarten is a pivotal year in a child’s educational journey. Every day is a joyful opportunity to immerse oneself in all the ways there are to learn: to paint, read, write, speak another language, run, count, dance, sing, explore, and make friends. Kindergartners learn through meaningful, hands-on projects, as they are introduced a more structured day with regularly scheduled activities.

Lesley Ellis School Reviews
LES teachers and learning specialists are knowledgeable, creative, and dedicated to their students. The counselors are kind and approachable. And the nurse has been proactive during the pandemic.
Lesley Ellis is a warm community guided by a common concern for children’s emotional and intellectual development, as well as an underlying sense of social responsibility writ large. The curriculum is comprehensive and also flexible enough to accommodate inevitable variations among kids, some needing more challenge in an area, and some more time and practice. Academics really speed up in the middle school (grades 5-8).
Parents feel safe in the knowledge that other parents care about each other’s children, as well as their own. In the younger grades, occasional conflicts among kids are resolved thoughtfully, and throughout the school there is zero tolerance for bullying.
