Leo Jr./Sr. High School is a place that I feel has helped me prepare for my future, while also making sure that I am doing alright in the present. I have heard many complaints from my peers about administrators, but I have not had any problems with them. This school is filled with teachers who care about your future, but also with ones whose only goal is to make sure that you pass their class. Most people who attend this high school have lived here their entire life, which has led to a tight-knit community. Leo offers multiple dual credit and AP classes that allow students to challenge themselves and prepare for high school. Overall, Leo Jr./Sr. High School is a school that can either be a terrific or horrific high school experience; it all depends on how you spend your time here.

I moved to Leo in 8th grade. The school has a lot of really nice teachers but can also have a few that are not so nice. My main issue was the lack of communication between students and staff. There were always some discrepancies. I enjoyed my friends and there are lots of options for extracurriculars. When it comes to teachers you can always tell when one is passionate and when one was not which does have an effect on learning, which made things difficult to enjoy. However, Leo high school set me up for success. I was able to push myself for the grades I had achieved. Leo is academically ahead.
Leo Junior/Senior High School is overall a very nice school. The teachers are very engaging, and friendly. Sports seem to get a lot more of the funding than any other department, which is a bummer, but the other departments are amazing as well. There are many things to get involved in and lots of chances to show school spirit!
