I really loved how Leo Junior/Senior High School was very involved with students and making sure they exceed in academics. A lot of the classes I took have prepared me for the future and made me more sure that I wanted to be a teacher. All of the teachers I’ve had really care for the students, and it’s easy to see that. The clubs and sports Leo offers gives students a variety of choices. I’m involved in two community service clubs that I’ve enjoyed being a part of. Along with clubs and academics, the best part about Leo is definitely the people and the community. Everyone is so welcoming and cares for you. I’m pleased with my experience at Leo High School.

What makes me like Leo Junior/Senior Highschool isn’t the school itself but the relationships I’ve built there. I joined my schools drama department as an eighth grader and since then the department has become like my family. I clap, smile, and cheer on its success and pout and shred tears for graduating members of the department. Another relationship I’ve built within the walls of Leo is the ones with my teachers. I know I can go to them with almost any problem, wether it be personal or academic. One thing that I would change is the teachers and staff involvement with the drama department. I see the teachers and staff go to almost all sporting events but I don’t see nearly as many show up to the Department’s production and I can’t help but be hurt and feel like the school doesn’t support its own drama department.
The Leo Junior Senior High School experience all depends on a student’s schedule. You may get classes that are organized with ways of learning that match your preference. You also may get classes where you are given routinely tests, quizzes, and worksheets and taught in an unpreffered manner of memorization. Regardless of schedules, one grand aspect of this school is its art program. There are a variety of art opportunities; play, pottery, 2-d art, 3-d art, choir, band, etc.
