Great school! Gives kids the chance to be exposed to many areas of study and learn how to make it in the real world. There are many opportunities offered and everyone there is more than happy to help! Though the school still doesn't have air conditioning, the lessons, academic and life, are priceless.

Our administration only acts on situations that they're comfortable with. There have been issues surrounding race in our school that students have gone to administration with, saying they had felt discriminated against, unwanted, and even unsafe. However, though our school proudly claims the title of being "No Place for Hate," the students committing blatant acts of hatred typically go unaddressed. No student should ever have their education impeded by the thought that their classmates consider them subhuman.
On many occurrences, there have been mice and cockroaches seen throughout the school. While this within itself is gross, it also affects class time. When a roach or mouse is spotted in a classroom, not even the teacher can focus on education.
The biggest thing that needs changing, perhaps, is the uniformity of the curriculum through teacher of the same subject. Two teachers that have wildly different teaching styles and teach the curriculum in completely different orders.
I had a great time throughout high school. I just had problems with the air conditioning. They have recently added air conditioning to the upstairs A hall but most of the halls do not have air conditioning. During the summer months the school gets really hot and because of the lack of air conditioning most of the time we are just sweaty. I just recently graduated in 2019 and our graduation ceremony was held in the south gym and since the gym didn’t have air conditioning we were all sweating through our gowns. On the other hand, I did have some favorite teachers that cared about their students mental health and did a really good job at delivering the topic to us. We had games like Pride day where the whole school gets together to play games with the other grades. It was to represent our pride for the upcoming football game. The school has a nice out door setting for lunch and decent typical classroom setting. I liked some of the kids and overall my high school experience was fun.
