In addition to being a certified International Baccalaureate school, Leland has the perks of a small school with the tools for students to reach out on a global scale. Students have the opportunity to join sports without the fear of being cuts, a multitude of clubs, and leadership groups. There's a certain advantage to smaller classes, given that students can receive more one on one time with students creating more advantageous relations and better relationships with students who can provide their own valuable insight and perspective.

I liked how I had the small school experience at this high school. Everybody knows everybody, and communicating with teachers is very easy to do. The IB curriculum at our school made academics more challenging and kept us engaged in class.
