We are having an excellent experience at LVA. My children are involved in many different activities such as plays and basketball. The basketball team is undefeated right now. Students start clubs they are interested in and are supported The Principals work with the parents, kids and teachers. The teachers get to know the students. My older child was prepared so well for college. He had no problems adjusting to the work or college life. The IB Programmes are the way to go!

It is a very small community and I enjoy that because it makes everything personal, including the learning and the teachers. The teachers are phenomenal, I haven't met a bad one yet. They're kind and they really care about helping/teaching kids. I rarely have ever felt intimidated to approach a teacher about anything I needed help with or wanted to ask. Due to it being an IB school, it is very rigorous. It offers most aspects of learning to a certain degree, but the arts on the lesser side. If you are looking to graduate with a major or just learn art, LVA is not the best place because it's not art-based. They are often poor in communication about the future regarding college preparation, guidance, and the like, and that is the only major complaint I have. Otherwise, I have had many great years at LVA. It has an emphasis on teamwork and individual thinking, and that has given me the chance to grow as a learner and leader.
Lehigh Valley Academy does an amazing job at educating their students about the reality of the college process and do everything in their power to aide in the student's success. The school excels in academics, but is lacking as far as a social environment. There aren't many sports or successful clubs. After school activities are regularly cancelled due to low attendance and many clubs created aren't hits with the school community.
