From Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy
Legacy Prep is a private, Christian, University Model School. Students attend class using a university-style schedule. Younger students are on campus two days per week and finish seatwork from home on alternate days. As students age and mature, they spend more time on campus. As juniors and seniors, they begin a true college schedule, with some classes on M/W/F and others on Tu/Th. This model, through the partnership between teachers and parents, equips students with a biblical worldview that fully prepares them to be organized, disciplined and ready for the rigors of higher learning.

Our family has attended Legacy since 2015. I have had one of my children graduate and my other is a junior.
Legacy prepares these kids well for the college schedule and college course load.
My children have been given opportunities that they would not have received elsewhere. My son partnered with staff to commence a media class which is in its third year.
Eighty five percent of the students participate in extra curricular activities. This builds relationships outside of the classroom. Our coaches are leaders in their faith and in their sport.
We appreciate the like-mindedness of the families, the sense of community, the culture and relationships formed between teachers and students.
Legacy was set apart from all other schools during the pandemic. They decided to open up earlier and stay safe in order not to close again. They took leadership in our area and our scores have reflected this.

We have been at Legacy for 15 years, and we love the school, teachers and administration. The academics are excellent and have well prepared my two children who have gone on to college at Texas A&M University. The teachers are caring, highly qualified and have challenged all four of my children to their highest potential in the classroom. We have also had the opportunity to participate in athletics, student council, an amazing engineering and robotics program and theater. In addition, everything is taught from a biblical worldview and points students directly to God's Word. But, more than anything, we love the community of families at Legacy. They are like family, and it has been such a huge blessing to all of us!
Our children have thrived at Legacy Preparatory. We love the university model and all the extracurricular activities are children can be involved in. Our kids began Legacy after our dissatisfaction with the large public school and teaching to the STARR test. Our kids have been able to participate in so much more and we love the school community. The teachers go above and beyond to make sure kids understand concepts and truly care about the kids. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this school. Our kids are thriving, mentally, spiritually, and academically. Our daughter will graduate with over 30 college credit hours. Our son's writing, reading comprehension, and math skills have improved dramatically. This school inspires a true love of learning.
