I really enjoyed Legacy High School. The teachers are the best and I made friends that I'll have for life here. I feel that my education there has prepared me for my college career and beyond.

My counselor was wonderful. Helping me successfully choose my classes and extra-curricular activities to make me well rounded in all my studies.

I thoroughly enjoyed my athletic career as well, specifically the Flag Football program. Our coaches were dedicated to helping us advance, not just athletically but academically as well. They gave up a lot of personal time in the evenings and on weekends for fund raisers and extra practice.

I loved my time at Legacy High School!

Legacy is a pretty average school. The community is large and diverse, but that’s not to say they’re the most welcoming and kind people either. I have met amazing people here, but fights are also rampant in the community which makes me question Legacy’s safety.

The staff seems to be divided with teachers and administrators who actually engage their students and push for their success, and those who do the bare minimum to qualify for their job. Though, the counselors here are really helpful and are super involved in our transition into college which I’m very grateful for.

Overall it was an okay experience but I just wish the students and staff take education and a united community more seriously.
I’ve been at Legacy since my freshman year, and my sister went here as well. Most of the faculty here has been here since the opening 11 years ago so they know the people, and all of the student tricks. The student body is mostly ghetto for sure, but as long as you go to the Honors classes and surfing yourself with good friends it’s a fantastic school! I’ve been in the swim team and Student Council for these 4 years and that’s where I’ve found the best people. My Coach really helped me improve and my Student Council advisor led us through a Zone Conference and countless catastrophes. I’ve learned much from this school, this is a place where if you give the effort you will get what you deserve.
