A very small school that offers 9-12th grade education. Athletics are very popular among students and a growing selection of sports has become available over the years. Administration has fluctuated over the years as well but has become stable in recent semesters. Dual enrollment is also popular among students and is available to juniors and seniors in good academic standing. National honor society has become a prestigious award also offered to students who complete community service hours and are in good academic standing. Few AP courses are offered at the school but many honors courses are available for extra GPA points.
The teachers truly want the students to succeed not just in the classroom, but also in life. The staff is very strict with all the rules to prepare the students for life outside of the classroom. My experience at Legacy Charter School was wonderful and I will definitely recommend it to my piers.
It is a small school so you know everyone and everyone knows you. The teachers are kind and helping. They want you to succeed. The school is growing and through that there are new activities and classes added somewhat often, 3-6 years. It does, currently, have a limited supply of extracurriculars and AP classes, because they are pushing all students towards Dual Enrollment.
