This school was a great way to prepare me for college, ethnicity wise. Lots of different people with different personalities. Great experience with the people!
I had gone here for my first three years and part of my fourth and enjoyed my time here, however, a lot of people around me had problems to report. There was an issue for an LGBTQIA+-identifying student getting bullied and a few mask-related issues. There were many fights, however, I never personally witnessed them, nor was I ever in them. The teachers were very friendly and helpful an overwhelming majority of the time, as were the general staff. The school provides a course on ACT prep if wanted as a course option for all grade levels. Many changes are going on at the school right now due to construction, but the staff is very lenient about arrival times for students having to deal with such issues that could pertain to the distance of walking. The administration did not handle the bullying issue very well for a long time whilst I was there, which was frustrating, as it was brought to their attention plenty of times.
Overall a great school. Kind of went downhill a bit from all the covid stuff but other than that teachers were very helpful, music program is awesome!
