It was not a bad experience for me, but there were things I would want to change. The buildings of the school are very out of date and need some updating. Academics, teachers, diversity, culture, administration, sports, resources and parent involvement were well put together in everything that I have seen. They have done an excellent job keeping it together and going about things smoothly. The food was not the best but I do not have high expectations for cafeteria food. I feel that there could be a little more activities year-round to make the school more comfortable and enjoyable to students. The activities they create are great, but I think they could do a bit more. Other than that and the not-so-well-behaved students, I was able to enjoy my time with the high school. To conclude, I did not put any 5-stars because there is always room for improvement! There is always a way in every aspect to make the school a little but better than before. Thank you!

Robert E. Lee high school was my stomping grounds for four years as I made so many great relationships as well as connections to people I never thought I would get the chance of meeting. Ive always believed that grades came first despite the fact that I played baseball all four years while I was going to school here. I also played football until my sophomore year when I decided that it was no longer for me. The teachers are the best at this school and they were always so helpful when trying to point me in the right direction. It is not easy to find teachers where I live but MISD always seemed to find the best ones that stuck around and have left or are continuing to leave a legacy. I also want to recognize the coaches at this school as they are all supportive and truly care about you as a person. My coach once told me that when you are dead and gone people are not going to remember how good you were or how many homeruns that you hit, they are going to remember the person you were.
I enjoyed my time at Lee High School, it gave me plenty of activities to be apart of. I wish there were more student activities that they could attend to where students are wanting to learn more and be involved in school instead of refusing to go to things. I would like to see teachers who do want to teach and help students learn material and not just turn in work to pass. I would like if students were taught more about getting ready for college, adult life such as taxes, bills, car payments, the usual thing that student should know when they graduate high school and go on to the adult life.
