Lee Christian School strives for me to be high. My parents put me in this school to show my inner abilities. I was introverted before attending. This did not take long to change. The school cares about me as a person and wants to help me grow. My first year at this school was 8th grade. I was terrified. I didn't know anyone, but I was welcomed. I am going into my senior year about to experience some changes our school has never had. We're going to have mission trips, new preschool building, and new classes. My personal favorite experience was joining the cross-country team. We won 1st place in our conference and both girls' and boy's state championship for a 1A school. Cross-country taught me discipline and endurance. This is the year for me to make a difference at Lee Christian. I am going to volunteer and help as a teacher's assistant. The only thing I would change about my school is having AP classes. The highest classes they offer are dual enrollment with a community college.

I've been at Lee Christian school since eighth grade and overall I have really liked going to school there. The academics are pretty good, the staff is amazing, and participating in sports has been great. However, one of my not so favorite things about the school is the drama of it. Now drama comes with every school of course, but one thing that comes with going to a small school rather than a big public school is that literally everybody knows everybody. Everyone seems to always be in each other's business and maybe some people like that, but from my experience that is something that I have not liked. Another thing that is discouraging for a Christian school is that the Christ-like atmosphere has really not been there for me and there has been bullying and many other types of scandals. But other than that, the academics, teachers and overall experience has been very good.
My name is Cameron A. Howell, and I have been attending Lee Christian School since the sixth grade. I have been a part of the band here since the eighth grade, and a part of the varsity cross-country team since ninth grade. The opportunities presented for multiple sports and extracurricular activities are available to all students. The staff and teachers at Lee Christian are both friendly, and open to listening to your issues and helping you through them in a loving manner. The teachers tailor their classes and teaching style(s) to the students' needs. The administration, though taking a considerable hit with the changing of administrators for the first time in the school's history in 2015, is still very good. The only thing I would change about the school is class scheduling. I would recommend Lee Christian to anyone looking for a good, Christian education who is also willing to pay the tuition.
