Lee Academy gave me a chance to redeem myself. It is very competitive with the foreign students academically. As for basketball, it's the most competitive sport. Everyone here is extremely creative. Also, very tall. It's an experience like no other, that isn't for everyone.

The school is very rural, and quiet. Perfect for people who need that aspect. We're surrounded by trees, lakes, museums, and right next to the campus we have a ski resort. It really just depends on who you are.

I liked the diversity here, and the over all community involvement. The athletics and education programs were all very active in the community and helping other students. This school prepared me for life after college in many ways and introduced me to many types of culture and education styles. I would recommend this school to anybody who likes diversity, a good community school, and a group of students and teachers who all work together well to provide success for students.
During my time at Lee Academy I was able to expirence things many students from maine do not get to expirence. The diverse culture of the school really changed my view on the world and allowed me to see outside the trees of my small town. Being able to speak with students and become friends with people from all over the world gives you so much. The bond you build at Lee is soemthing I never saw at any other school, teachers live on campus and you get to know people on a different level, eating with faculty member at dinner and on the weekends. You get fully immersed within a small community. However I do believe that the school could im prove on some things such as the astetics and over look of the school which does come with time. They have just started to introduce new classes and ways of learning as well as expanding activities which I believe they should continue to do even more.
