Lebanon High School has seen various changes in leadership, but has responded well. It is full of wonderful teachers who have impacted the lives of students and who take the time to actually know them. The staff is supportive of students in their academics and their extra-curricular activities, and encourages students to form their own opinions and stand for causes they believe in. There are a variety of classes offered, and different levels to address the needs of students. Very grateful to have attended this school!

Overall, I am enjoying my experience at Lebanon High School. One downside of attending a relatively small school, the range of classes or opportunities can be limited. However, LHS makes up for it by offering VLACS courses or "Extended Learning Opportunities" that allow for students to explore interests and passions.
Another great aspect about LHS is it's strong sense of community. Maybe it's because it's a small school, but I truly feel each staff member wants to make sure each student is successful in their own ways. You develop strong relationships with not only your classmates, but teachers as well. I find myself often stopping by an old teacher's classroom to catch up with them.
Each school has their positives and negatives. But at LHS, I find myself finding more great things about it.
The Lebanon High School Experience. There was a good amount of electives that you could choose from they ranged from painting, Music theory, to outdoor explorations. The school lunch throughout high school was pretty bad but there was only so much the lunch staff could do. A positive is the range of after school clubs that you could take part in such as, lgbtq+ straight Alliance known as G.L.O.W, Woman studies, and Art Club just to name a few. The grades unevenly distributed due to tests having too much power over the grade. Most of the teachers were extremely supportive and caring but there were a few that were subpar. The sexual education program was lacking a lot and was extremely heteronormative and to the book. The bathrooms also had a bad sewage smell throughout the years. There was also a lack of funding to the arts and the athletics got a lot more funding. Overall it was a decent school but it needs some changes.
