I loved Leander High School's International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. It helps you become an overall well-rounded person! The teachers within the program help you learn the material rather than memorization for an upcoming test or quiz. The courses offered can be applied to everyday life. The support of the students and faculty are incredible. Everyone continues to cheer each other on whatever it may be: sports, band, dance, AP/IB testing etc.!

Leander high school had amazing staff! Teachers genuinely cared about students and formed close bonds with students almost always. Principal Chris Simpson was very active with students and was such a highlight of my high school experience. Counselors and assistant principals were very helpful with getting me to graduate early. There were plenty of clubs and activities available to all students who were interested. Leander was a very safe school and I was never worried about going to school. Teachers always worked with students in order to not only better their own grades but to better their school and home lives. My teachers never hesitated to ask about my day or talk about what's new in my life. Many of my teachers were so kind, funny, and I can't forget to mention how wise and smart they all were. I felt so comfortable with some of my teachers that I could tell them every little detail regarding my personal life and they would offer up some very much needed life advice.
My overall experience in Leander High School has been one I will most definitely never forget! Throughout my time in high school, I have learned what it takes to have a strong work ethic, good time management skills, and basic life lessons. Being a student at Leander High has given me the opportunity to get a taste of what I believe to be each general type of individual and group of people due to its high diversity and abundance of opportunities to connect with others through clubs. I have been a part of so many different clubs from Knitting Club to Spanish NHS and from being heavily involved, I have been able to experience a range of different communities within my school. I have grown tremendously as a person through the faculty and my peers thanks to the variety of clubs and courses that are available to me. Overall, my time spent shaped me as a person and through self-reflection, I am able to continually grow from my past experiences at Leander High School!
