The teachers here are great! They love to help out students who are in need in help academically but also emotionally. These teachers have a special relationship with their students because all of them offer their personal phone number apart from their email and office hours. This was actually surprising to me because I never expected myself to actually have the nerve to text my teachers in case I needed help on my homework or if I had clarifying questions. This actually made me realize that the fact that these teachers were willing to give out their number made the students feel encourage instead of being timid to ask for assistance. Their teaching styles had changed depending on the subject which is a good idea because if teachers stick to their old and same routine students wont find it interesting, which will affect whether the students are actually engaging and learning.

Leadership Public Schools: Richmond has teachers who do not just care about academics, but students well being. The teachers want every student to succeed and so there are various resources students can use for help.
I think leadership Public Schools is one of the best high schools in the West Contra Costa Unified School District. A downside is that it is Charter. The school is an appropriate school for those that want to learn and want to succeed. Behavioral issues will not be tolerated. So it makes it perfect for those students that are not problematic. The teachers really work with the students and make them responsible for there commitment and completing work and advocated for themselves where help is needed. Administration is fairly easy to work with and teachers are very accessible.
