As a small school in the big world that is Frisco, Leadership Prep School offers the chance for close threaded friendships and one on one tutoring and teaching. Our school's overall environment is leadership based, meaning everything we do and say is on a leadership mind. On top of our Project Based Learning (PBL), which focuses on learning through real-life scenarios, our school continuously teaches us strong habits to develop leadership skills through community service, virtues, and a dedicated school organization built by the students to ensure a positive environment.

LPS has a relatively peaceful environment, meaning that while it does have some of the typical negative high school elements, they're much smaller and much more controlled. The learning at this school is PBL (Project-Based Learning), which is extremely helpful for real-world situations, simulating students' future work environments rather than forcing them to merely learn facts without truly being taught how to think. The reason I gave this school 4 stars instead of 5 is because the academics are somewhat behind, they're not fully established or figured out (since this is a somewhat new school with much less funding), and some teachers tend to stifle creative thinking when it's going to a use other than the project at hand.
ALSO, NOTE: LPS is not a K-7 school as is currently stated on this website. Currently, LPS is a K-10 school. They add a grade each year, so next year it will be a K-11 school. I'm a sophomore this year, meaning that I'll be in the first graduating class.
I am a student at Leadership Preparatory School, and I would say it's an amazing school to go to. There are a variety of options for electives and the teachers are very nice. The buildings are very good learning environments, and we do very well acedemic wise. There is not MUCH bullying, so it is a pretty cool place to go!
