Leadership Christian Academy exists to educate and equip this generation of God's leaders. LCA is a private academy that offers a program of academic and spiritual excellence in a safe environment and is the only school in Erie County with applied leadership training from Pre-K through 8th grade.

LCA’s courses are taught from a Biblical worldview; in addition, the Academy emphasizes leadership training, civility, character virtues, local missions, interpersonal skills, public speaking, entrepreneurship, and pride in America & its rich history. LCA is accredited by both the Association of Christian Schools International and Middle States Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools.

The campus has 30,000 square feet of creative learning spaces and the full-time teaching staff are all ACSI certified and/or Pennsylvania certified teachers. The Academy also offers cross-country, golf club, boys' basketball, girls' volleyball, archery club, mathletes, choir, student government & more.

My daughter has attended Leadership Christian Academy since Kindergarten and has just finished her 8th grade year. No school is perfect, but this is as close as one could ever expect! The staff is full of amazing dedicated Christians committed to (1) teaching students in a spirit of academic excellence and with a Biblical worldview, (2) meeting your child right where he or she is at, (3) building leadership training into everything from even simple activities to serving monthly in local missions, (3) shepherding your child's heart while preparing them to stand firm on their faith, and (4) employing a growth mindset which is a grace mandate! From the chapels, leadership virtue guest speaker series, hands-on learning approach, adventures outside of the classroom to your student being a mentor and a mentee, learning effective public speaking and developing interpersonal relationship skills, LCA delivers. If you're looking for a Christian leadership academy, look no further.

Review Leadership Christian Academy

There are many great things about LCA, but the deciding factor for us came down to the teachers themselves. After homeschooling for many years, it was important to us that our kids be truly seen and known for who they are and developed in their authentic walk with Jesus. Every teacher has been phenomenal. They nurture our kids in their strengths and come alongside them in their struggles. The teachers seek to empower the kids to succeed academically, but more than that, they challenge them to grow in true Christ-like character and leadership. This isn’t just “religious training.” This is true discipleship. The school maintains a culture of family and community that we also appreciate. Our son has enjoyed basketball this past year, and our daughters are looking forward to both volleyball and archery in the upcoming school year. We are so happy that we chose LCA!

We found Leadership Christian Academy when my son was going into 4th grade, and couldn't be more grateful for this school. My son has a reading disability and was teased for years in public school for reading several grade levels lower than he should. This negatively impacted his confidence. The teachers at LCA intentionally built him up and helped him discover his worth in Christ. When they would notice that he was struggling with confidence, they would literally stop class to speak Truth to him. They would lead the class in giving him encouragement in all the awesome ways God created him. He is now in middle school and is reading at grade level! He actually enjoys reading now, so much that he even volunteers daily to read in class! He is a leader and is bold in his faith. We are so thankful for this school, the teachers, the administration and the other families. Never have we experienced such a positive family atmosphere like we have at LCA. We love LCA!
