Leadership Academy of Utah (LAU) is a public online charter school serving students statewide in grades 6-12. We offer an award-winning academic program 100% tuition-free (including all books, materials, and a laptop for your student)!
At LAU, our program solves the three biggest issues with most schools: Low quality, safety concerns, and a lack of flexibility. We do this by:
• Teaching students how to think, not what to think—which helps them excel academically and in life.
• Providing fun, engaging at-home learning experiences while training students to stay safe online.
• Making it easy to fit our program around your child's other interests and activities.

Friday Adventures Program
To help students explore, unwind, and connect with their LAU peers in person, we offer Friday Adventures! Held every non-holiday Friday, these include a mix of fun outdoor activities like hiking, rock climbing, ice skating, and more, as well as leadership-focused activities like simulations, service projects, visits to local government, and activities with local businesses and entrepreneurs.
