LBA is a school in the heart of hialeah gardens. I attended for my last year of high school and it was an interesting experience. The perks are that they have lots of networking events within the Latin Builder's Association community, so students are offered job opportunities and get to form better connections with their dream schools. However, the student body seems to not strive towards achievement, the classes are jokes (although I did take 2 classes there through dual enrollment, which would be considered normal and challenging courses), and the overall atmosphere is not very uplifting. The opportunities are there; the student just has to look for them themselves. They won't willingly lead you in the path to success.

If you're looking for a pleasant, familiar experience, LBA Academy is the choice for you. If you're looking to ACTUALLY learn and have a good education, walk away and attend a bigger, better school. Due to it being a very small school, you'll have tons of friends, and practically know everybody attending the school with you, even if not from your grade. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of my High School experience, but I had to work extra hard to keep up with my yearly class requirements.
Overall experience here is okay. The teachers were great at a time. Although almost every year it’s a different teacher. It is a small school, so the ratio of teacher to student is efficient for each student to perform well in school and be managed.
Students have very little degree to participate in school activities and there is little or no student involvement.
