I transferred in as a senior, but here's my honey review:
I love how diverse the school is! The school has 3 floors that are easy to navigate after a week or two and eight 47 minute periods per school day. It's bully-free in my experience, and the people are quite friendly if your usual crowd is the smartest people in the school. Honors and AP classes are abundant in this magnet school, but they don't let their students skip grades or graduate early...

I'd say more, but there is a character limit.
There are no substitute teachers for juniors or seniors; if your teacher is absent, you get a "free period." I'm mentioning this because I moved from Horseeheads High School to Lawrence, and it shocked me. Also, students swear at and disrepsect their teachers in many of the non-honor level classes.

Overall this school is mostly great and has a great vibe to it. It has a really cool location as it has a swamp behind it. The school has a cool identity among students as most people love going to the school. One of the best things is the diversity. Here you can find kids from different backgrounds , many of whom I am friends with. Race and diversity has never really been a problem here and most of us see the diversity as a strength and privilege. Despite all the great things at LHS, there are also bad things. The school does not have as many academic or athletic resources as it should and does not do enough to prepare us for college and the real world. Also, many teachers are too strict towards their students meanwhile other teachers are way too lenient. Most times teachers just let their favorite students off the hook and propel them to undeserved praise, privilege and success. Teachers allow students to manipulate them and give these students privilege over other deserved students.
In Lawrence high school, I like the different varieties of classes. I believe this school has a class for any interests or majors for college. They provide a lot of sports, clubs, and activities. Most of the teachers are well educated and helpful in many ways. The school itself is a very good school, unlike some students, who attend. Lawrence high school is diverse and not diverse in many ways. It holds a lot of kids. The school is clean. Also, very spirited. The safety of this school has increased over the years. Due to closed gates, lanyards, security guards, and cameras. The staff drastically changed into introducing study sessions for the SAT. Overall, Lawrence high school wasn’t a bad experience for me, it was rather an average high school, provides all the needs for education.
