Liked the opportunities to participate in different clubs, classes, sports, arts and find my interests. Disliked the heavy focus on some sports (football) and lack of investment with other sports (volleyball). Athletic department seems to have dropped the ball!
Liked the variety of classes that can challenge and prepare you for college. Disliked the inconsistency with quality teachers. Most are great, some need to remember why they decided to become teachers.

Lawrence Central was not a horrible experience, but it wasn't particularly amazing. Most of my teachers were great, but a couple were a tad condescending. Some would get frustrated if you didn't understand something, instead being patient and trying to further explain the subject. Other teachers assigned far too much work, and then there were other teachers that did the exact opposite, where I felt like I wasn't learning anything. All in all though, my teachers were pretty decent and my experience at Lawrence Central was like that of a typical highschooler's experience.
At Lawrence Central High School, there is so much to get involved with whether it i student led clubs or extra curricular groups. Something Lawrence Central has that other schools don't have is the diversity and mix of students that you get to connect with! There is always more to learn about your classmates and it helped me be more open minded and excepting. Overall, if you get involved in high school and find your niche you will have a great time and experience!
