Law Enforcement opened a lot of doors for me. The early admission/ dual enrollment program allowed me to finish my AA with 0 debt. The location in downtown miami also gave me a lot of internship and employment opportunity that i would’ve not had elsewhere. I wish we had better school spirit.
It is a pretty good school. The staff are really nice and helpful. During the pandemic, some teachers haven't lessened the workload which is worrying.
This school was not what everyone made it seem. It has taught me to be independent and learn how to work alone and study alone.
Definitely won’t have this high school experience in any other high school you attend, but with that in mind the environment with the other students and teachers is something memorable.
Teachers and principals come in and out throughout the years. Its really nice that if one of the students feel that we need another club the school is open in making it.
The school offers multiple opportunities academically such as Dual Enrollment and job occupation exposure such as Internship along with certification courses for different fields in Dispatch, Law, and Biotechnology.
Law enforcement officers memorial highschool is a magnet school that leaves you with a door of opportunities when you graduate. Unlike most highschools within the magnets it leaves you with an option after you graduate. For example in the Law program by senior year you can take the parallegal exam and after you graduate can have a good paying job straight out of highschool. Another example is the homeland strand it gives you the oppourtunity to graduate with the dispatch certification. Law enforcement is a door of opportunities for there students.
In this I learned many things, as a person and academic wise. My public skills were enhance and I learned new things about the system, I learned about different aspects of criminal behavior and I learned how to be more outgoing.
My four year experience at Law Enforcement officers memorial high school were great. This high school helped me a lot the education is super great. Students are able to find what they would like to do in the future. For example they are mainly focus on the Law enforcement field such as Law, homeland security, and forensics science. Students are able to learn in the different academics they are and that will help them know on what they would like to major in college if they would like to proceed to the law enforcement field in the future.
This school specializes in helping students to begin their careers in 3 different strands: Homeland Security, Law Studies, and Forensic Science. At the end of our high school career, all strands are able to take certification tests to help them become either biotechnician assistants, dispatch officer, or para-legals. The STEM curriculum at this school is amazing, and offers many AP courses.
Freshman year of Law Enforcement was very challenging. The administration was out of order and wasn’t a part of the students. Sophomore year had drastic changes. The principal changed and so did administration.
It is a very rigorous and hardworking school. Small school, but we are a family. We do not have sports teams and certain clubs like the traditional high school, but we make do with what is given. College readiness is a priority.
I enjoy the school I attend. This school has taught me what hard work is and I have seen myself improve such a short time. The school is very safe and I never have to be scared of any harm. I have worked very hard and the teachers are very helpful and teach for life. They have many real-world examples and they take the time to make sure you understand the lesson of the day. The school provides tutoring after school for those who need extra help. Upperclassman are very helpful and nice. The school is a home away from home.
I love the program that I’m in. I’m studying Forensics and the assignments are well coordinated to what I want to be when I grow up.
I love my high-school. I feel as if it has prepped me for college and lead to be successful. The administration is amazing and the teachers are really easy to work with. The only thing that I wish can improve is the club and activities and the sports. We have great resources and I love how we can graduate with different certificates
The school is more or less fine if you're able to put up with a lot of headaches from teachers giving you a hard time for no reason and the general attitude of the students here. Otherwise you'll more likely than not hating it here.
I had a great high school experience in this school. I was able to do Dual-Enrollment, which aided me to jump start college and exposed me to how a college environment is. The faculty and programs are helpful. The only thing I would like to see more sports activities. When I studied here, we did not have any sports.
