I love Laurel Springs! It has allowed me to pursue a rigorous academic education throughout high school while still allowing me to continue my involvement in the equestrian sport. I have also gotten the added bonus of being able to work at my own pace, encouraging me to master concepts rather than just surviving through them. The support network is also incredible, and there are so many ways to be involved in the community that it almost feels like a traditional school environment even though my classmates may be thousands of miles away.

Laurel Springs has changed my life for the better. The teachers are incredible and understanding, and they care about the success of their students. The community at laurel springs is welcoming, and you will find that the students are very kind. There are many resources to supplement your course material, so if you ever need help you have somewhere to go. The flexibility and wide variety of courses is very impressive. Laurel Springs arranges field trips, virtual field trips, activities, and the weekend of celebrations (including prom and graduation) to introduce you to the other students, as well as having their own social media platform, and live classes to meet other students. A schedule goes out every week for iclasses, and every month they release a schedule for clubs. At the school, there are over 30 interesting clubs to get involved in! I'm so happy that I found Laurel Springs, because it stands out from the rest.
I attended LSS for my junior year of high school. There are some positive things about the school, including its course offerings, clubs, and diversity, but overall, I would not recommend it. In my opinion, the quality of this school is not up to par and it will not prepare you for college. The classes are far too easy and the curriculum is very poor (e.g. I did not have to read a single book in English, there are MANY errors in the lessons, etc.). The teachers at LSS are very kind, but I have not been impressed with the support (or feedback) I have received from them as a whole. Unless you continually reach out to your teachers, you will most likely have little to no contact with them.

Lastly, I'd like to add that while LSS was not what I was looking for in a school, many of my classmates seem to enjoy it immensely. Depending on your circumstances, it is possible that LSS could work well for you!
