Being from a small town, it is inevitable that the school will be unable to compete with bigger town schools. However, there should be additional help to the school then there is. Students in these types of schools (such as Laurel Hill) should have the same opportunities as other schools. The resources are not as vast, the funding is a little on the poor side, and SOME of the teachers seem to care less than others. The up side to this school is everyone is like a big family. Everyone knows everyone and there is never any major pressure associated with school.
