Laural Highlands High School is very spacious, plus it's not confusing to walk around in. The courtyard is very pretty and I enjoy sitting out there for lunch. The only thing I would change would be the administrator's involvement in serious affairs like bullying and in some serious cases, homophobia and racism because it's almost like they don't care and don't have the time to deal with it and make the students feel safer in their identities and skin color.
Laurel Highlands is a good school with plenty of nice people and teachers who care about student’s education. However there are also plenty who I feel should have their teaching license reviewed as they don’t teach or who are genuinely malicious towards their student. There is also the problem of favoritism that runs rampant, which leads to many bullies who never stop.
As with many other school districts, LH has some very dedicated and caring educators. Academics is stressed, while sports status takes high priority. Overall education is satisfactory.
