I love the Lauderdale County school district! We don’t have great funding, so we aren’t able to do many things that would improve the school, but everyone works hard, and makes the best of what they have. I would love for the teachers to get a pay raise so they could do more. Many of our teachers have to work multiple jobs to keep up with the payments they need to make. That’s how you know they love what they are doing, when they do it and get so little back.

I have been to 3 schools in this district, Northeast, Clarkdale, and Southeast. My experience with each of them have been good. The teachers helped me get used to a new school by including me in everything and even though it was hard to talk to new people, they still put me in groups and that actually helped me so much. Each of these schools are poor for the readiness of the ACT, we have intervention and some teachers could care less. It is like if once student does not want to participate in the ACT prep they cut it off for the entire class. The classes are consistent, they keep a schedule and go by it often. I am able to come to them anytime i want to ask questions if i did not understand as well. I am diagnosed dylexic and ADD, so they understand and they are patience with me. If i had to rank these school from my experience, it would be 1. Southeast, 2. Clarkdale, then 3. Northeast.
