Excellent small school! Feels like a private school you don’t have to pay for. LCPA has the most involved and caring teachers my son has ever had! They spend their time to make sure all their students are successful and their needs are met. The college director, Ms. Alvarez, goes above and beyond to make sure the seniors are on track with college and or career readiness. After having another child go to a catholic high school, this school definitely is just as good if not better than any high school in the area!

Being enrolled in Latino College Preparatory Academy has given me the opportunity to feel like I am part of a supportive community, almost as if we form our own family. Most of the students are Latinx and we have similar backgrounds, however, each student brings in something unique to their culture which welcomed with open arms and incorporated into the learning environment. Administration and teachers are both supportive and encouraging. This school has granted me the opportunity to narrow down my choices for a future major by allowing me to experience what it would be like to enter in one of several fields. Throughout my years at LCPA, I have grown academically, interpersonally, and intrapersonally. With granted leadership opportunities I have learned the power of my voice and the impact that I can have on my community.
Latino College Preparatory Academy has made my high school experience the best it could be. I have made friends there that will definitely be for life. The staff and administration are determined to make the students successful. Most of the teachers are right out of college meaning its easy to talk to them because they can relate to our situations, not long ago they were in the same position as us. Just as any school LCPA has flaws, we have a lack of funding which results in only one counselor to support more than 400 students. Our teachers and administration tried to help us through the college application process although they did get us through it, it would have been nice to have the support from people who know exactly what they're doing and who are trained in this type of information.
