I really liked how diverse the student population is. The recent administration is making great changes and improvements in academics, school culture and overall student participation. There were a few remarkable teachers, that I’d remember forever. Though, I wish some teachers were more serious about their job. One thing I’d change is the preparation for for college. They should have more classes to get ready for SAT’s and offer sessions on how to apply/ pay off college. I did see some effort from the counselors, though I hope it’s more organized and thought out in the future. Lathrop high school is a relatively new school and because of the last administration it fell short to the needs of students. But with the newfound motivation and support by the the administration now I have very high hopes for the future of Lathrop High. I’m pretty content with my experience in Lathrop High!

Lathrop High School is full of amazing students and staff members that help create a safe and comfortable environment. The activities that the student council members, including myself, put on are always enjoyable and the outcome of attendance is always high. Not only was it fun, but classroom settings and the teachers really care about our education and come to work everyday ready to help learn and succeed. My high school experience was the best and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I owe it all to lathrop high school and the people I was surrounded with.
I love the very lively, yet familiar and diverse atmosphere. I felt very welcome, and at home when i arrived as a Freshman. The school has various choices of clubs and classes, and all the teachers i had are very passionate about their subject, making it much more exciting to learn. My favorite class at Latrhop High is, Academic Decathlon as they stand as my second family, while we overcome the same stress for competition and are by each other constantly to support our individuals growth. I also enjoy the camaraderie despite the classes being mixed with different ages. I hope to see the school add more tennis courts or add more student parking.
