I loved my experience at Lassiter High School. Looking back, there are many teachers that I made great connections with and were crucial to my success in high school. Lassiter prepared me very well for the University of Georgia.

Aside from academics, the administrators were always present at sporting events which I loved to see. Overall, Lassiter is a super positive environment, and one of the best high schools in the state!

Lassiter High School had to experience the very unfortunate loss of many of its students within these past two years. During these tragic events, the students and community did everything they possibly could to come together and support each other. I wish Lassiter High School had done more to recognize the loss of the students and their irrefutable potential. I wish Lassiter High School had done more to investigate the reasons behind which we may have lost them. I wish Lassiter High School had encouraged a more positive, safe, respectable environment that its students could thrive in. Overall I had an amazing experience at Lassiter High School but I proudly give full credit to the students and community. I strongly believe that the administration and staff should be left out when mentioning the achievements and strength of the school. Thank you
As a current college student, Lassiter High School really prepared me for college. However, there were a lot of things I did not like about the school. As someone who transferred into the school no one was very welcoming to me, and it made it very very hard for me to adjust and make friends. The academic programs and the facilities are very good for students. However, the culture of intense pressure that surrounds measuring your performance level is damaging for students. Because many students do so well at the school, if people fall below that standard they are looked down upon by fellow students and administration instead of being encouraged.
