Las Plumas High School was a fairly typical high school. One that is far from what is portrayed in movies and media. I feel like the school was very limited in its academics. For example, I would very much enjoy a computer/programing class but the school doesn't offer one. As for the students and staff, almost all experiences I had were beyond friendly. Students are full of energy and teachers and staff are very helpful. All in all, I would classify Las Plumas High School as a "normal". It taught me many things that I would use in my everyday life.

There can be alot of conflict with other students here but overall so far i have had a great experience. Las Plumas has a great agriculture program and the teacher are really involved with their students. There are many excellent programs and activities here at las plumas, i would recommend this high school for future highschool students. School spirit here is a big thing and most students and staff here get really involved with spirit weeks. There are diverse classes including life management, drivers education, home economics, agriculture, and many more. Go to Las plumas!!!
Las Plumas has some pretty good teachers who care if you pass. However, the campus is a bit outdated, with outdated equipment. Classrooms often have broken desks, dead/dying projectors, dead light bulbs, outdated books, and slow/nonexistent internet coverage. The bathrooms don't often have soap and paper towels, and lack hot running water, often leaving kids to forgo washing their hands. The janitorial staff often showcase an uninterested mentality, ie. janitors using a leaf blower to clean rooms.

There are a good amount of classes to take, with many options for interested students, however, the administration often shows a lack of care for the students and their instructional material. The most recent textbook appears to be from 2006. The campus can be unsafe at times, ie. fights, school threats, etc.but it has been worse.
