Ryle is one of the most accepting places I have been to, as of right now. If you want to find people that are interested in the same things you are, I am sure there is a club for it. The teachers are also amazing! The moment you walk into the room, you can tell that they want to help you along the way. Throughout my four year, the teachers are there to talk and help you in whatever way they can. Ryle offers career courses, where you can take all four years of a class, that is specialized for your career. I am in the PLTW course, and have learned so much about the body and the inventions we have come up with to help it, that I wouldn't have learned in a regular class. I am grateful to be in Ryle, and for everyone that I have met and helped me along the way.

Ryle High School is a great place for getting an education! The staff and administration truly cares for their students and enjoys helping students reach their full potential! One thing that could be improved is the diversity. Diversity among the students is very slim. I feel as if the experience and education would be greatly enhanced if diversity was increased among the student body.
Most of the teachers at Ryle, such as Ms. Caldwell, are truly intelligent and have great lesson plans, but since Boone county transferred over to standards-based grading it makes being able to pay attention and enjoy these facilities we've been afforded much more difficult. Peers end up being more focused on what there grades are rather than attaining a quality education. I hope that Board of Education eventually realizes how little information there is as to whether or not standards-based grading works, and reverts back to the previous grading scale. Besides that, it is a good environment.
