This is a good school. The majority of the teachers here are very kind, understanding, and always willing to help me when I have questions. The academics are very good and I feel like I am being challenged, although I wish they offered a wider variety of classes, but that isn't realistic with the relatively small size of LCS. Some of the teachers I have had bad experiences with and some of the students and a couple of teachers are incredibly fake. Also, the administration does not know how to spend money, they created outdoor learning spaces that can only be used comfortably for about 4 months of the schoolyear, but even then, they are not used very often. Generally, it seems as though they are putting money towards beautifying the school, but they need to put more money towards supporting learning.
We love LCS. They succeed with excellence in so many things! Academically, its very rigorous, with some of the most talented and caring teachers- dedicated to their craft and the students. Socially, they cultivate a very positive and supportive environment for every student. We appreciate the thoughtfulness and wisdom that the administration displays in their planning and execution. We love the community of the parents and families and of course the strong Christian values that form the bedrock for all that the school does and stands for!
LCS is a truly amazing place! We sent our kids here for preschool, completing intending to put them in public school for elementary, but 7 years later our kids have loved every teacher (literally) and we've been so impressed with the sense of community. The leadership at the school is very intentional about everything and their vision is carried out by impressive, certified teachers who obviously care SO much about the kids.
