Lansing Catholic High School is an outstanding high school! Great academics with great teachers, great sports teams, all sorts of clubs and activities so that everyone is part of something outside of the classroom. Faith and service are core to this school and not only are they talked about, but they are lived out! Students and staff have the freedom to talk about and grow in their faith and discuss social justice issues freely. This school is more than just a school, it is a home, it is a family!

Lansing catholic is a great school! If there were one thing I'd change about it, it would be the diversity. The school is very white washed. I'd say there's probably less than 50 black students and more than 500 white students. Our sports teams are awesome and have pretty good records. We offer many different sports for both boys and girls. Our facilities are improving literally daily. We have been under construction and will be until the year 2020, renovating our sports fields. There are plans in the making to renovate classrooms and cafeteria as well as building another gym. Our academics can be very tough and the school spends a lot of time on college prep. We have many extremely qualified teachers who teach very well. Although, like any school, there are a few teachers who aren't that great.
I enjoyed my time at Lansing Catholic because it was filled with teachers that were interested in the success of their students. The teachers at Lansing Catholic took time to thoroughly answer questions asked by students and made it easy for students to come to class before or after school for more guidance on a subject. Having MASH tutoring at Lansing Catholic also made sure that students could receive help with their homework from National Honors Society members. Something that I would change about Lansing Catholic would be having more teacher-led instruction rather than independent work. It is important for teachers to make sure that their students understand a subject before they begin working on it.
