Lansdowne High School is a good school for all kinds of students especially for students from a different country like a refugee or an immigrant like me. Lansdowne High school has a ESL class for the students who doesn't speak very well on their English and it also accept all kind of race and religion. Lansdowne High School is also a good school for the people who want to study being a nurse/doctor, child care, Army, engineer, and all kinds of things. The thing that I mostly like about Lansdowne High school is that they have sports, after school activities, and all kinds of fun things that students need to do at school. Therefore, if you are looking for a high school in county I suggest that you should look at Lansdowne High school first.

This school is a mess in my opinion. The building is falling apart. There is no air conditioning. The Performing Arts department is starting to majorly decline as the years go on because we are not receiving money to help us. I am now a senior in this school. The students here can be both good, yet very bad. Being a part of the LGBTQ community, it is very hard to fit in. I was bullied for a while due to this issue. The teachers don't help students when in need and neither does administration. There are a select few students and teachers who are trying their hardest to make a change. One thing I do like is our partnerships with the Hippodrome Foundation. People like me who want to continue with performance really enjoy this partnership. It allows us to explore the world of performance as well as allowing us to see shows and work with real performers. However, overall, this school needs a lot of work.
Overall, I did not have a horrible experience at Lansdowne High School, as I was extremely academic-focused. I was the valedictorian of the class of 2020 and the captain of many sports. Therefore, as a well-rounded student, I was able to take advantage of a lot that Lansdowne had to offer. On the down side, I had very little help for the administration in trying to achieve certain goals. It was almost as if they wanted me to settle for being “satisfactory,” when I wanted to be extraordinary.
