Lankenau High School is a school that has teachers and staff members who care about their students' futures and academic success, going as far as making a goal to have 100% of their students graduate. They make sure students are not only college ready, but also work in a safe environment. Diversity is slowly but surely increasing, for Lankenau High School is predominately filled with African American students. There are many afterschool activities to participate in; a few examples being the Anime Club, Botany Club, Lankenau Dance Team, Lankenau Drummer Team, and JV Football. Parents assist with fundraising in the Home and School committee, as well as contributing food to the annual Soul Food Luncheon. The funds received go to technology, school renovations, trips, etc.

My experience at Lankenau was okay but, it could've been better. I would like to see improvement on the structure of the school overall. I feel we lose a lot of education and lack fun because, our school isn't at it's full potential. Our gym is very small like a box. We have a library but no student is allowed in it. Our outdoors are pretty bare with just a used basketball hoop and tables. Another thing I can comment on is, we lack trips. I haven't been on a trip since beginning of junior year and I'm currently a senior. Also my college process I mostly did by myself as our counselor is mostly always absent.
I loved the teachers ! Most of them helped me graduate. Aside from being in the middle of no where, there’s not much trouble you can get into if you steer clear of drama. The teachers are almost always willing to work with you. Spent four years here with minor complaints. Hated the fines/fees thing that really put a hole in my pocket senior year!
