What I like about Langston Hughes High School is it’s diversity. There were different races like African American, white, and Hispanics. And you were able to learn about different cultures from different people. Langston also has fun activities like pep rally’s, football games, and etc. At the pep rally’s there would be special guests. Some people were rappers and some were dancers. Or maybe a student from the school was performing, I almost forgot, the talent shows! Each year at Langston Hughes High School we would have a talent show that consists of students from the school who showed off their talent. And the winner would be chosen by the judges, and the amount of applause a person got. It was always fun!

What I like about Langston Hughes High School (LHHS) is that both the student body and staff are generally respectful and assist anyone with any issue they have (academic or otherwise). One common issue with the school is administrative issues, where the administration commonly waits until the last moment to announce something. That's something that can be fixed, but overall it's a decent school!
I attended Langston Hughes for all of my high school career. I began high school in 2011, so the school was very new at that time. My overall experience was good considering the fact that I was not a very social student. I began to join clubs and extra curricular activities in my last two years there. There is a place for everyone at Langston Hughes. Join clubs and enjoy these times as they do fly by!
