As someone who is extroverted, Langley is seemingly the best suited high school for me. I have gotten along with the majority of people. Moving to Great Falls the summer before my eighth grade year was a hard transition, as Langley is more student oriented than my last schooling system. The school spirit at Langley is elevated, making me proud of what school I go to. The academic system, though challenging, allows me to grow as a student to the best of my ability. Overall, my experience being a Langley High School student is astounding.
We specifically moved to our neighborhood to be in the Langley pyramid. After 3 years, we have been very happy with FCPS, and Langley in particular. The academics are top-notch, and I feel there is an atmosphere of encouraging a well-balanced life for the kids, despite the very driven and competitive atmosphere. My child is involved in their stellar theater program, and there is tons for kids to do, with a lot of clubs, etc, so that everyone can get involved somehow outside of academics. The staff is very helpful and professional, and as a new family to town, we have felt very welcomed and supported. I also believe they did their best with the unprecedented pandemic situation in terms of distance learning, and I feel my child is safe now while at school. This is of the utmost importance to me.
Wonderful high school experience for my son. Great teachers, wonderful community, great variety of extracurriculars! Thank you Langley!
