The school has a definite lack of diversity. And there was a lot of drama regarding a new administrator where other faculty would be racist towards him. He was a great person but he was forced into retiring due to tensions between him and the school board. The school board just did not want to see change. There are some teachers that genuinely care but many are more concerned with being friendly to the students. A lot of the activities are cool, though. The academics follow a baseline level and there is little opportunity to earn college credits / attend AP classes. I'm not having issues at college, but I go to an arts school and I was a good student, so I can't speak for others' experience. Okay school, but if I had a choice I would have gone to a bigger, better one.

I really like how nice the school building is compared to other schools. I also like how much the students are involved in and support athletics. I would like to the the administration understand the students point of view more.
Langdon Area gives you many opportunities, there are many extracurricular activities you can partake in. I believe this school is very welcoming to new students and always includes them in everything we do.
