Landon is an all-boys day school for grades 3-12 located on a 75-acre campus in Bethesda, Maryland.
Landon is built for boys. We want each student to bring his energy, goodness, ideas, humor, creativity, curiosity and intensity to every class, performance, project, and practice. The men and women of Landon who will be his teachers, coaches, mentors, and friends will challenge him to bring it. This commitment to him is why Landon stands as a national leader in boys’ college preparatory education. At every level, he will be challenged by expert teachers, advanced curricula, and high-minded expectations—all to prepare him for collegiate and lifelong success.

Ethics, Service, and Leadership Program
Character education is at the core of what we do every day. We are inspired by the goodness and vast human potential inherent in boys. We cultivate this potential through peer-led ethics assemblies, frequent small-group advisory meetings to discuss issues that impact the school and the world, and required courses in ethics, service, and leadership, including a Grade 12 capstone project.

Landon School Reviews
Although the pandemic is now behind us, our boys couldn't imagine leaving Landon. The relationships that they have built with their classmates and teachers are deep. The teachers do more than educate - they get to know the student on a personal level and they become mentors.
My boys have very different personalities - you would never know that they are twins - but both of them think Landon is the perfect school for them. I think that says a lot about the nurturing environment. Everyone knows everyone. From the head of school to the maintenance crew, everyone is friendly and polite.
