Lakewood Park Christian School Reviews
Rating 3.9 out of 5 88 reviews
I loved my experience at Lakewood! It is such a tight knit community where you are truly known and cared for by your teachers and fellow students. During my time at Lakewood, I was able to be involved in so many activities ranging from sports, to the arts, to leadership councils. Lakewood also offers a great selection of Dual Enrollment and AP Courses. I went into college already a sophomore because I was able to earn so many credits through DE courses!
As a parent, I’ve been unimpressed over the past 8 years of being a part of LPCS. If there was another Christian option in close proximity, Lakewood would quickly become an afterthought. From administration ignoring the needs of the students, to subpar teaching/test scores, and finishing up with below average athletic coaching and opportunity, if you have another option for your children’s education, take it.
My educational experience at Lakewood has been exceptional! The teachers truly care about your success and future. The healthcare club has given me a glimpse into my future career. Also, being able to letter in multiple sports has been an amazing opportunity!
