Lakewood high school''s Center for Advanced Technology, is a great academic program! You have the opportunity to learn about three different branches of technology that tie into each other. However, there is a severe lack of student support when it's needed from students. There is a very comfortable, friendly environment at the school. There is also a lack of discipline throughout the entire school.

Safety and Administrators aren't that good. I feel like they could do more to protect us and its alot of disrespect that comes from the hall monitors and officers. There is alot of bullying and they dont solve the problem. When I was pregnant they gave me alot of resources. The teen parent program and the food pantry helped so much. My teachers motivated me and even though I missed alot of days I managed to go on to the next grade. After I had my baby I went to their community school and now I'm a proud graduate. They worked with me and made sure I succeeded. There is alot of diversity theres never too much of just one race and the food is good some days are better then others (although I'd recommend bringing lunch). Overall I'd recommend this school despite the bullying, the uniforms, and the administration I really loved it here
This school Is one that I’ll never forget and it more than prepares you for college. The clubs are fun and diverse enough to go from gaming to an ocean based academic team. The teachers all work there hardest to help there students Learn and improve as much as they can. The academics are amazing to, you’ll never find any better art and music instructors, and the science labs feel like there better equipped than my current colleges, and the teachers always made sure to have fun and engaging labs that actually correlated with the content the class was going over.
