I have been attending Lakeview for 3 years now, currently being in my senior year, and I love it! My school is extremely diverse, having foreign exchange students from all over the world. It creates a warm and open atmosphere, as everyone is brought together, despite their differences.
Lakeview offers an abundant amount of challenging classes for higher level students, including opportunities to dual enroll in college classes. The staff tries their best to help their students grow academically, physically, and mentally, and they truly do care about everyone who attends. I am proud to say that I attend a school as amazing as Lakeview.

All the teachers were very nice and very welcoming. The teachers do a great job of explaining new concepts to me and were very understanding and patients when I was struggling to grasp a new concept. If I was having trouble understanding the subject, my teachers were able to stay after school and help me get a better understanding. One of the few negative things about the school is that the water fountains don't really work too well, they often don't have enough water or too much. The pods are confusing to oncoming freshmen since they have look very similar.
Lakeview High School offers a variety of AP classes, a great opportunity for me to challenge myself, learn more (in depth) about a class I am interested in, and earn college credit. Also, it provides students an assortment of extracurricular activities and clubs, ranging from Art Club to Key Club. However, I do believe that more student involvement in school activities should be encouraged.
