The school is so old! The younger students get new computers and the new school, it is so unfair. The food is pretty good. Student Council doesn't do anything. The teachers are ok. It has no diversity everything is white or Asian, some Asians brag that there again, and I find it weird. The way students treat each other is horrible. Kids are so rich at this school it's disgusting. I have seen kids with YEEZY's.
Just a wonderful junior high! We are on a second generation of family attending and we still love it!!!! Right in line with the rest of the LOSD, LJHS is EXCELLENT!!! You need have no worries about choosing this school to educate your students-- they will thrive! Currently, Winter 2019, they are in the process of building an entirely new school on the same site. This has been a carefully thought out process that has been executed flawlessly! Stellar teachers, sports, arts, activities, safe neighborhood, etc, etc.
What is also wonderful is-- as a parent-- you are heard. This school feeds into an equally tremendous school, Lakeridge HS. Get ready for your child to create a lot of awesome memories!

Some really good teachers who I genuinely think shaped my life for the better. At the same time I am still begrudging if others. My 6th grade health teacher almost hit me with his car the other day, we made eye contact and he honked then drove away. It has been almost five years since I had him as a teacher and I still think he was a sucky dude. Much of the administration is the same way. An overarching character trait everyone has is that the put a tone of effort into being ‘awesome’ (a quote from the principal), which is completely disregarded by everyone there. Thy keep pumping out worse and worse freshman too so like that really says something. Despite this, I met some of my best friends there where we bonded through our equally weird experiences. It was middle school, the good the bad and the wtf.
