My experience at Lakeland High School has been very positive. The courses I have taken over the past 4 years have been challenging at times. But my teachers found ways to make the "challenges" fun and interesting. This is even more true now that COVID 19 has been thrown into the picture. Lakeland and Lakeland's teachers have made virtual learning an easy adjustment and I am looking forward to the rest of my Senior Year! Go Cavaliers!
My son has attended LHS for the past 3 years. As he goes on with his SENIOR year, I am proud to say that he a Lakeland High School. He has grown to love the staff band, his teachers and friends. He has NEVER had any issues as far as teachers treating him wrong or what have you. In fact, he has no complaints whatsoever and is already talking about how he can't wait to be part of the alumni so he can give back what was put in him!
The school, in general is good! Most of the teachers are great, however, the school building need some work. Some classrooms are moldy and the air conditioning doesn't always work properly.
