My daughter is getting ready to start her 7th year at Lakehill, and we can’t say enough good things about her experience at the school so far. She continually gets support from the teachers (and they’re available for my questions as well), the work is challenging without being “busy work” to just make it seem difficult. The teachers and administrators get to know the students and pay attention to their needs, and they notice if they’re struggling with a particular concept. They also pay attention to their social cues, and know that sometimes with pre-teens (where we are), a couple of questions to make sure things are ok are in order. It’s a fantastic school community, with parents and alumni who really believe in the mission. Our daughter loves it here, and so do her parents!

I have attended Lakehill for twelve years and both of my siblings are alumni. Lakehill is filled with an amazing faculty that are extremely dedicated to the students that attend Lakehill. With the small classes, students are offered one-on-one time with parents that allows students the proper amount of time to understand the material gone over in class. All students are given the opportunity to play a variety of sports and extracurriculars and are not restrained to one club or organizations. Students are encouraged to join clubs and take leadership roles. The faculty and administration are committed to bettering the lives of the students that attend Lakehill and preparing them for their future academic careers.
Lakehill was a perfect fit for my 2 children. Lakehill is small enough to allow your child to participate in anything they are interested in, so your child can try lots of activities to find his/her passion. The teachers truly get to know your child, and they accept and celebrate ALL the kids. I always felt my introverted children were challenged to participate but always appreciated for their own personal strengths. Both kids were accepted at many excellent colleges. I will miss Lakehill so much!!
