Excellent place to try new things and grow. This school has potential. New clubs can be created easily, but as of now, there are only few cult-favorite clubs. There is room for more though, and it is not hard to be that change! Teachers are kind and helpful. They are willing to work with you if you approach them in a mature manner.

Lake Washing High has some of the most memorable teachers I have ever had. A lot of them care to build a connection with their class which I appreciate in a teacher. My most favorite was my Spanish teacher that I also was a TA for. She is patient, open-minded, humorous, and supportive. As her TA, I got to know a bit about her on a personal level and how amazing her character is. I also really liked my sophomore English teacher. He was overall a very cool and laid back guy, making it easy to talk to him. His honors class was tough, but he gave us a lot of feedback on our work and numerous opportunities to ask for help. What I don’t like about the school are all the social cliques. The student body lacks unity. Also, it can be difficult to make new friends or socialize with people you are not already close to. Because of this, I would rate the school average considering that socialization is a huge factor in a high school experience.
I enjoy the school and I think it provides a lot of opportunities. They are finishing up renovations and adding a new gym. They offer a lot of sports and have nice facilities for them. The students aren't super spirited but they do care a lot for football.
They offer a lot of AP classes and you usually get the ones you request, so you can decide the difficulty of your schedule. There's also some good CTE and dual enrollment credits you can get. It's not super arts-oriented but they still offer AP art and a good variety of art classes (photography, painting, design, pottery, etc.)
