I really appreciate the coaches and parents that help make the athletics program so great! I have enjoyed being on the Football and Wrestling Teams. I would love to see more diverse community involvement with the school. It would be very encouraging to see more people of color and cultures volunteering at the school and getting involved with students to build up the community in and out of school.
Lake Washington High School has felt like a second home for me ever since I enrolled in the school! Both the students and staff are dedicated to education and strive for success, respect, diversity, and inclusivity.
Lake Washington is a very welcoming environment. I've never felt like someone didn't want me to be there or I couldn't be successful. Teachers are flexible, understanding and willing to help with anything. They truly care about mental health and are very transparent about policies, schedules, and student expectations.
