Lake Taylor High school had been an exciting experience for me. Other than dragging myself up four flight of stairs, I wouldn't complain about the school. Not every teacher is giving the students a welcoming vibe, I'll admit. Yet, the students and staff are understanding and calming. There is a time and place to play and work. Whenever there is free time to just relax our brains, then students notice the amazing personalities that teachers and staff carry. Personally, I wouldn’t change a thing about my school. The reason why I wouldn’t change anything is because a change will only cause new problems. There is no way that Lake Taylor High is going to change in a way to satisfy every student in the school. So, I’m grateful for the experience that Lake Taylor is giving me. I wish others would be grateful for their school experience as well.

If I could describe my experience at Lake Taylor High School in one word it would be: Tough. I say that because the school was not all that welcoming, and if were up to me I would've transferred. Though some teachers actually do their job it seems as if the majority lacks the passion and patience that I feel teachers should have. We,as students, are the future and the teachers don't act as if they care about that. They tend to be very aggressive and easily agitated which is not at all helpful in a learning environment. If I could change one thing it would be the staff's attitudes when it comes to actually educating the students.
PERSONALLY I enjoyed my experience at lake Taylor high school. It’s a very tough school socially. If you don’t know your place and say the wrong thing then you’re probably going to get harassed or jumped unfortunately. The teachers and other students are very entertaining, but with a strength in entertainment comes a lack of education. Almost half of the kids that start 9th grade at Lake Taylor don’t get to walk the stage with them in 4 years. There are only a handful of impactful teachers at LTHS. It’s almost as if EVERYONE in that school, doesn’t want to be there. This school needs an environment change if they want to improve their horrible academics. Most of the kids that’s have the potential to go Division 1 in sports either can’t make the grades or get lost in a life of crime. This school focuses way to much on sports rather than student development. One day I hope that I can clean this school up and be able to reach out And inspire the youth there.
