I spent eight years at LNC and made great friends and even greater memories. The sporting events are always fun to attend, especially with the Knightmare student section. The majority of teachers are amazing and you have many opportunities to take AP and Dual Enrollment courses. They also have a great lunch program where you can order from places like Chik-Fil-A and Panda Express. The only thing I didn’t enjoy with LNC was how everyone had their own social group that they always stuck with. Overall, I enjoyed my time at LNC and I will forever be a Knight!
Lake Norman Charter focuses on their appearance so much. I was a theater student and even though we won our competitions, the theater teacher back-talked the school due to COVID concerns so they fired him. All of the school's funding goes to a football team that loses, and the administration does not care about the students unless they are boosting the school's image. However, I had amazing teachers who really helped through a lot and cared deeply about the students.
Overall a great school! Need more diversity and inclusion. Clean ffers expanded information about important aspects of school quality — including student access to advanced courses, student progress information, and equity data to help parents see whether or not all students are being served similarly parents across the country can use to support their children’s education and take action to improve their local schools. We’re incorporating this rich data to ensure that our school ratings reflect factors that we know are important to parents and that research shows are connected to students’ success in college and life.
