Lake Nona High School is wonderful school to enroll in! For starters, there are a lot of students in the campus, so it's easy for a new student to make new friends there. The classes can be a hit or miss. It depends on the teacher, the student's behavior, and the difficulty of the class.

Lake Nona High School also offers opportunities such as the Collegiate Academy; being provided by Valencia College to allow students get their Associate Arts degree early. They also provide a diverse amount of extracurricular activities for anyone to join, including sports such as tennis and basketball and clubs like video games and rowing.

The administration there is excellent; they do a good job trying to control all the chaotic events that happen in the school. There is even administration for students only called student services where students can ask their guidance counselor for advice on school and future opportunities.

Overall, the school is enjoyable, as long as one doesn't be reckless.

Contrary to many students' beliefs, Lake Nona is a Very good school with many more facilities than many other schools. The school has many amazing opportunities. It has the Dual Enrollment program with Valencia Colleges. It is convenient because the Lake Nona campus is right next door and students that don't have transportation can just walk accross the street. It also has Dual Enrollment with Orange Techinical College where a bus is provided so students again do not have to worry about transportation. It is a diverse school including many races. It has amazing sports and arts programs. With the teachers, you either get lucky or you dont. There are very good teachers and there are not so good teachers, it depends on who you get.
The quality of education varies pretty widely at LNHS. Some teachers are great instructors and super invested, while others are there to collect a paycheck. Counselors and administrative team are understaffed, so it can be pretty frustrating to deal with them. Deans are overzealous in enforcing rules and are often aggressive. The school is very overpopulated so it does feel like you're just cattle being herded to graduation with minimal attention. However, there are lots of opportunities offered, from a range of sports and clubs, to college rep. visits, to tutoring, to free PSAT/SAT exams. Your experience will vary depending on what's important to you and what teachers/staff you happen to end up with.
