The small town school atmosphere, I feel safe every day I walk into this school. Small class sizes lend to having the opportunity to make connections and get personal help when needed. Also, this school lended great sport opportunities for me and the ability to play college football.
In a world where kids are afraid to go to school with all the threats, I have never felt more safe; knowing our principal is engaged & meets with every new student to put our safety as his priority!

I've gone to this school district my entire life. Lake Mills High School has several teachers that personally really care about their student's growth. I succeeded very well in my classes and had very good relationships with my teachers on a professional level. Even as the pressure and workload built up towards junior and senior year there were several resources to help me prepare. If I become a parent one day I would feel confident in putting my child through this school district. I feel I have indeed learned things in some of these classes that I apply to the world around me.
Over the last four years of my life, my experience with Lake Mills High School has been very good. The teachers I have had were always willing to help me when I needed and our sports and music programs are pretty good as well.
